01 Problem
What was not working
The community already existed, but it was spread across too many places. People were following updates in one place, talking in another, and missing important moments because nothing felt connected. For a new founder, that is risky. If the first version tries to do everything, it becomes expensive and slow. But if it does too little, the community has no reason to move from the tools they already use.
02 What we found
The real issue
The problem was not whether people cared. They did. The issue was deciding what the platform needed to own first. The part needing attention was the core community loop: what people come for, what makes them stay, and what brings them back after the first visit.
03 The fix
What we changed
We shaped the first version around the actions that mattered most: following updates, joining the conversation, and staying close to the community without jumping between different places. Instead of building a large platform from day one, we focused on a clear first version that could launch faster, cost less, and prove whether the community would actually use it.
04 What we built
The outcome
A focused SaaS platform that gave the community one place to gather, follow what mattered, and stay involved. The product became easier to explain, easier to launch, and less risky because it started with the community’s real behaviour instead of a long list of assumed features.
05 Result
BRRM launched with a clearer first version built around the community’s real habits, not guesses.
